Job Description:

The Accounts & Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data uploaded and processed into the systems, performed in a timely fashion. This role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including administrative tasks, CIS compliance, payroll processing, and analyses of credit card/fuel expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments within the company.

Assist with CIS compliance, including registering the company and subcontractors, verifying credentials, and submitting CIS returns.

Support payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments to employees.

Help maintain payroll records and address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

Process supplier payment runs and enter/allocate ad hoc bank payments onto the banking system and accounting software for director authorisation.

Allocate cost codes/nominals to invoices and enter them into the accounting software.

Analyse credit card expenses, review statements and receipts for accuracy, compliance, and cost-saving opportunities, along with fuel receipts, and upload them to the accounting software.

Scan and chase for authorisation of invoices and file paperwork.

Allocate payments/create payments on HSBC.

Answer phones/emails with general queries.

Enter Sub-contractor Reverse charge & CIS on purchase invoices, checking CIS Status.

Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts.

Complete credit applications.

Assist Financial Controller/Management Accountant/CFO with other tasks.

Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the overall goals of the company.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in an administrative support role, preferably with knowledge of CIS and payroll processes and expense analysis.

Strong understanding of CIS regulations and requirements beneficial.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Projects Engineer 4-5 year's experience

This role is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer, with 4-5 years’ experience in the marine civils or heavy civils industry, to join an established, profitable and growing company that offers the potential for unlimited development and progression. TMS works throughout the UK principally on exciting coastal marine civil engineering projects up to £7m in value. Due to the size of TMS and its family run nature, Engineers typically take on a site management role alongside maintaining site quality systems and records. This role will provide a diverse and challenging opportunity for a competent and ambitious Engineer.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Managing the site on a daily basis and liaising with the Contracts Manager
  • Providing engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered on site
  • Liaising with the Client and ensuring any queries are dealt with in the correct manner according to the Contract
  • Responsible for ensuring setting out is completed within tolerance
  • Assisting in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials by maintaining quality records
  • Completing daily briefings and ensuring the site team understand works
  • Assisting in the preparation of site documentation (including risk assessments, method statements, construction phase plans) for briefing and distribution on site, ensuring clear communication channels are in place for comprehensive understanding
  • Communicating effectively with TMS commercial team to ensure the project is profitable and completed within the intended time-frame
  • Mentoring and supervising junior Engineers

The required skills and qualifications are:

  • Related Civil Engineering Degree, HND or equivalent
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent work ethic
  • CSCS Card
  • Committed to working all over the Country
  • Driving Licence

Additional preferred skills and qualifications are:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
  • TWS qualification
  • Working knowledge of NEC forms of Contract

We are looking for new diver’s to the industry & experienced ex off shore divers

Preferable South West based as head quarters are in Dawlish, Devon.

Work can be UK side, subsistence & accommodation provided.

Estimator

This role is an excellent opportunity for a marine / civils estimator to join an excellent, stable growing company that offers the potential for unlimited growth and progression. Your responsibilities will be:

  • Production of accurate and comprehensive estimates for projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Control of the estimating process at project level.
  • Production of estimates on multi-disciplinary projects;
  • Supporting development and promotion of estimating best practice;
  • Staying abreast of developments within own technical area of expertise

Required Skills are;

  • Experience in estimating / quantity surveying or marine civil engineering.
  • Relevant experience providing estimating and/or cost planning;
  • Understanding of project management, planning, and risk:
  • Understanding of cost planning and experience of producing first principles estimates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience of working in a client facing enviroment.
